The Record Is Hiring a Cybersecurity Reporter
The Record by Recorded Future is seeking a reporter to cover the ins and outs of the cybersecurity news beat.
We are looking for a talented writer who feels at home reporting quick scoops on the latest cybersecurity stories, contributing to weekly newsletters and podcasts, and can write in-depth analysis on broader industry trends. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with building relationships with a wide range of sources, including government officials, cybersecurity executives, and academic researchers.
Examples of the types of stories this person will write include:
— Interviews with top cybersecurity officials.
— Analysis on developing trends and incidents.
— And breaking news stories that dig beyond the headlines.
Writing for The Record won't be like working for other publications. This person will play an instrumental role in building the foundations for a new media brand, and must be willing to embrace new opportunities. Experience reporting on cybersecurity or technology is a plus, but we encourage all writers with an interest in the subject to apply. Curiosity, perseverance, and resourcefulness are prerequisites.
We are open to remote candidates, and offer competitive pay and benefits. More details on the position and instructions to apply can be found here.
